Weekly Update: Screentime Down, Vibes Up

This week’s a chef’s kiss for my screentime goals — I’m down another 23%! Averaging just 2 hours and 51 minutes a day.

My goal? One hour a day. Lofty? Sure. Doable? You bet your apps it is.

Turns out, rediscovering my hobbies and letting my mind wander (instead of my thumb) has been the ultimate brain spa. Mental clarity? Improved. Sleep? Glorious.

Wondering how I went from 10 hours a day to under 3 in just a few weeks? Click here — I spill all the tea.

Now, let’s dive into what I did instead of scrolling like I was training for the thumb Olympics:

Sunday
Sunday was all about family, sunshine, and a baby on the way! We celebrated my amazing sister and her soon-to-arrive little one with food, laughter, and the kind of weather that makes you forget winter ever existed.

Monday
Met a new pup I’ll be walking this week — and if you’re new here, hi, yes, I am that dog person. I’ve got my own, but I also joined Rover for bonus pup time. After the meet and greet, I hit the grocery store and knocked out my meal prep.

Tuesday
It was finally plant season! I made my pilgrimage to Home Depot and loaded up on leafy greens and flowering friends for my balcony garden. If you want fresh basil at your fingertips too, check out this post on small space gardening.

Wednesday
Low-effort, high-reward night: takeout, couch, and The Last of Us. If you’re not watching, I don’t know what to tell you — it’s a great show. You’ve gotta check it out!

Thursday
Dog training class! (Yes, still.) We’ve got one more session before we graduate and then I have to figure out what to do with my Thursday nights besides trying to be a dog whisperer.

Friday
Birthday shenanigans for one of my besties! We celebrated in style — and I somehow woke up on Saturday without a sangria hangover. Miracles do happen.

Saturday
Farmer’s market morning with Goose (my dog, not an actual goose — though that would be fun). We got our classic breakfast sandwich + coffee combo, and Goose scored a pup cup, obviously. Then it was homemade pizza night, followed by Easter cupcake prep.

If you’re looking to reclaim your evenings and break up with doomscrolling, I got you. Check out some of my favorite offline activities here.

Have a fab week, friends 💫
